Are the scratches superficial or down to the primer/metal?


If they are just white scratches in the clear you can polish those out easily but you will need to do the rest of the truck for it to match, especially if it's a dark color

I just went through this with a collector car I just sold, where people are way more sensitive about that, and it ended up not mattering to the buyer, or really anybody else that looked at it. Nobody that actually has the money is going to give you trouble over scratches in a 2006 Ford
